Why did you stop planting trees in Africa?
From March 2018 to August 2020 we planted trees in various countries in Africa (Madagascar, Tanzania, and Burkina Faso). In July 2020, we achieved our goal of planting 1 million trees. This was, when we set this goal a few years ago, for us the best way to do something good for our planet. But we always knew that we also wanted to mean something for nature in Europe, starting with the Netherlands. After all, that is the nature where most of our guests come from, but also where we ourselves can be found the most. And we want to do something in return.
We could continue planting trees closer to home, but we consciously choose to do other nature projects as well. Planting trees is very good and very much needed, but there is so much more we can do for nature. By contributing to local nature projects, we can mean something for nature differently each time, but also connecting people to nature. Here you can follow the nature projects.
